About the Position

We are looking for a dependable and initiative-driven Delivery rider to guarantee prompt dispatch of goods and bundles to clients across various sites. The preferred candidate will thrive in a dynamic in-store environment, show outstanding schedule control, and uphold a high standard of client support.

Primary duties

• Safely and prompt supply items to clients using a organisation-offered motorcycle.
• Pick up items from suppliers or warehouses as ordered.
• Ensure proper managing and care of goods during transit to prevent loss.
• Preserve precise dispatch data records and acquire client signatures on dispatch documents.
• Convey productively with clients regarding dispatch status and estimated arrival times.
• Execute basic servicing & maintenance checks on the motorcycle and documentation any faults.
• Follow all traffic legal provisions, organisation rules, and health and safety protocols.
• Help in minor errands inside the store or in-store processes as needed.
• Manage cash on dispatch (if relevant) and ensure precise remittance.
• Preserve a specialist and courteous mindset at all times.

Qualifications

• At least SSCE / OND.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Delivery rider or similar position.
• Valid Rider’s Card and driving permit (Class A).
• Applicants must live close to site
• Good expertise in city routes and traffic patterns.
• Capability to operate under pressure in a dynamic in-store setting.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Basic document-keeping and recordkeeping competencies.
• Physically suit and capable to ride long distances.
