Role summary

As a Top level Data engineer at Migo, you will play a main responsibility in optimising our machine learning-driven decision operational structures, from supervising and retraining current models to conceptualizing new ones that power automated lending decisions. You will evaluate effectiveness data to enhance capabilities, select most effective models for different client segments, and combine new data suppliers into our modelling frameworks. Your contributions will merge statistical strictness with practical issue resolution, leveraging causal inference notions, A/B running test, and strong ETL pipelines to enhance model precision and stability. Operating closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, you will ensure our strategic judgment operational structures remain flexible, analytics-based, and efficient as we scale into new markets and serve an expanding clientele.

Duties

• Evaluate business data to evaluate effectiveness and recognize zones for advancement
• Track, reeducate, and iteratively enhance machine learning models
• Add and remove capabilities based on effectiveness evaluation
• Select most effective models for different client segments using established indicators
• Combine new data suppliers into current modeling frameworks
• Evaluate new data to formulate rule-based and heuristic approaches
• Track and formulate ETL and function engineering pipelines
• Formulate new ML models for automated strategic judgment

Qualifications

• An Master's degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Economics, or (Submitted application) Statistics, or equivalent expertise
• Expertise with ML lifecycle and statistical modeling
• Expertise in ML notions which includes model drift and data leakage
• Expertise conceptualizing new machine learning models
• Understanding with the basics of causal inference
• Expertise with Python and object-oriented programming
• Expertise in data pipelines and ETL methods
• Expertise with A/B running test
• Full competence in SQL.
