Position Overview
We are looking for an skilled and driven Biology Tutor to supply compelling and practical lessons that advance scientific thinking, exploration, and comprehension of the living world. The tutor will motivate students to appreciate biological sciences and organize them for success in within and outside the organization examinations.
Primary duties
- Strategy and supply Biology lessons in sync with national and/or British syllabus guidelines
- Use compelling training methods, multimedia, and strategic trials to advance query-based learning
- Organize students for WAEC, NECO, and/or IGCSE Biology examinations
- Arrange and oversee laboratory practical sessions
- Track and evaluate student advancement; offer feedback criticism
- Preserve discipline and motivate positive classroom conduct
- Work alongside other science teachers on interdisciplinary projects
- Engage in school events, science fairs, and career advancement programs
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree / B.Ed. in Biology, Biological Sciences, or relevant field
- At least 2 years’ educational background experience at the secondary level
- Expertise in WAEC / NECO / IGCSE Biology syllabi
- Practical lab educational background experience and safety consciousness
- Clear expression and classroom leadership abilities
- Technology-savvy and student-attentive
