Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and proficient Line Cook to join our kitchen team at ON THE RUN Dining venue.
The Line Cook will be in charge of getting ready meals according to our standard recipes, making sure uniformity in taste, quality, and visual communication.
The preferred candidate should possess background operating in a dynamic kitchen, follow kitchen standardized processes, and preserve high hygiene guidelines.

Organize and chef food according to standardized recipes and directions from the Chief or Sous Cook
Set up and inventory your desk with all necessary ingredients and tools before service (mise en place)
Ensure dishes are readied without delay and meet visual communication and taste guidelines
Preserve cleanliness and order in your allocated section during and after service
Properly manage and store food items to reduce spoilage and waste
Follow all safety and sanitation standard procedures as set by the kitchen and health governing bodies
Convey productively with the kitchen team to guarantee smooth and aligned service
Assist other kitchen sections as required, especially during peak hours
Inform supervisors at once of any tools malfunctions or ingredient shortages
Help in receiving and storing kitchen inventory when necessary

Interested applicants should have an SSCE / GCE / NECO / Bsc
At least 1–2 years’ expertise as a Line Cook or in a similar position in a business-related kitchen
Basic culinary development or applicable kitchen expertise
Comprehension of kitchen safety, sanitation, and hygiene standardized processes
Capability to operate under pressure and adhere to guidance precisely
Effective communication and collaborative ability
Readiness to operate adaptable changes, which includes weekends and holidays.
