Job Description
Objective of Position
The Africa CDC looks for to hire a national and citizen of any Member State of the African Union to be a roster member of the African Voluntary assistants Health Corps. This is not hiring process for job but voluntary assistant service for Africa CDC. The possibility AVoHC Voluntary assistants applicants are those who possess background in Community health Management, community-related and behavioural science, epidemiology, information exchange, Infection Prevention and Regulate, laboratory, mental health, etc., from Africa Union Member States. The possibility candidates are inspired to be fully utilized and ready to voluntary assistant for the competencies and skills any time requested by Africa CDC.
Main Processes:
In the circumstance of the Africa CDC Community health Crisis System issue Management System (IMS), at the different levels, the Risk Information exchange and Public involvement specialist will offer IT assistance to the subnational/national/regional/continental system issue management teams, the Ministry of Health (MOH), and other applicable government governing bodies operating with networks to strengthen the national system for risk information exchange and public involvement in response to community health crises in order to guarantee that both the population and service vendors follow supporting prevention measures.
Preferred:
An postgraduate degree in Community health, statistics, Information exchange, Community-related Sciences, Anthropology or other associated technical disciplines from an accredited/identified institutes
