Role summary / Duties
- Strategize organize, and supply compelling Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons in line with Nigerian and/or British syllabus guidelines.
- Use a range of training methods, assets, and tech to improve student comprehension and effectiveness.
- Organize students for within and outside the organization examinations (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, etc.) with outstanding outcomes.
- Evaluate, document, and documentation on students’ advancement, offering response to students and parents.
- Produce an welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
- Support to syllabus development, unit-specific organizing, and co-curricular initiatives.
- Engage fully in employees sessions, development sessions, and school events.
- Preserve high guidelines of discipline, timeliness, and competence.
Qualifications Education:
At least a Bsc in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or relevant field. Specialist training certification (TRCN registration preferred).
Expertise:
- At least 3 - 5 years training Mathematics at high school grade.
- Demonstrated expertise getting ready students for WAEC, NECO, and/or IGCSE examinations with outstanding outcomes.
- Expertise training in a Lagos private school environment with exposure to Nigerian and/or British syllabus preferred.
Necessary Competencies:
- Robust subject expertise in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
- Outstanding classroom management and lesson dispatch competencies.
- Capability to clarify sophisticated notions in a clear, compelling way.
- Skilled in combining ICT and modern training resources into lessons.
- Robust corporate, information exchange, and people skills.
