We are at present recruiting an Associate Director, Pharmacy to head the development, optimization, and growth of Relarex, Reliance Health’s pharmacy perks management programme, into a self-sustaining and top-performing business unit. The applicant will be in charge of building and scaling a resilient infrastructure of pharmacy warehousing facilities, making sure productive and dependable fulfillment of digital prescriptions, and defining maintainable profit models.

Duties

  • Formulate and implement plans to establish and scale the Relarex pharmacy network as a top-performing, self-sustaining business unit.
  • Establish and execute analytics-based operational structures for supervising performance indicators connected with stock chain, fulfillment, financial health, and service dispatch.
  • Build and preserve strategic connections with suppliers, importers, and manufacturers to enable cost-efficient, premium quality procurement and ensure stock continuity.
  • Supervise comprehensive allocation processes, which includes stock management, fulfillment logistics, and cold-chain honesty and reliability where relevant.
  • Head, formulate, and empower a top-performing, cross-functional team, producing an environment that fosters responsibility, ongoing development, and creative invention.
  • Evaluate business and market data to uncover inefficiencies, minimize risks, and design strategic interventions that boost efficiency.
  • Set and accomplish income, margin, and growth targets, which includes pricing optimization, new income streams, and growth plans.
  • Ensure full adherence possessing applicable pharmaceutical rules, quality benchmarks, and internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-operational teams, which includes technology, clinical, finance, and client support, to improve digital order fulfillment and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be a prepared and authorized pharmacy professional with active registration in Nigeria.
  • Proven expertise in pharmacy tech or digitally enabled pharmacy businesses, especially in positions combining clinical solutions with digital processes.
  • Established leadership expertise in a growth-stage new venture or a high-level position in an established pharmacy chain with a digital/e-commerce presence.
  • Robust track document of coordinating and scaling cross-operational teams, pushing effectiveness, and nurturing business alignment.
  • In-depth understanding in pharmaceutical logistics & supply management, which includes warehousing, stock regulate, final-mile dispatch, and cold-chain processes.
  • Expertise in building or optimizing multi-site pharmacy networks and coordinating network effectiveness.
  • Deep knowledge of pharmacy business models, which includes profit and income levers, pricing plans, and cost optimization.
  • Exposure to healthcare funding models which includes health coverage and pharmacy perks management is a robust advantage.
  • Clear expression and stakeholder engagement competencies, with a cooperative executive guidance style appropriate to cross-operational teams.
