Preschool Tutor at Howbury School in Lagos

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, patient, and innovative Preschool Tutor to join our Early Years team. The preferred candidate will possess background operating with children aged 2–5, a deep knowledge of early childhood development, and the capability to produce compelling, age-suitable learning experiences.

Primary duties

• Strategy and supply a balanced and compelling syllabus that boosts cognitive, community-related, emotional, and physical development.
• Produce a warm, fostering, and safe environment for young learners.
• Use play-based and practical learning plans to assist curiosity and exploration.
• Observe and evaluate children’s development, preserving precise records and sharing information advancement to parents.
• Work alongside teammates to arrange school events, excursions, and celebrations.
• Guarantee adherence with health, safety, and safeguarding guidelines.

Credentials & Competencies

• Higher national diploma / Bsc in Early Childhood Education or relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Preschool or Early Years Tutor.
• Solid understanding of the early years syllabus (British EYFS and/or Nigerian syllabus is a plus).
• Clear articulation, creativeness, and coordination abilities.
• Enthusiasm for operating with young children and nurturing their comprehensive development.
