Expertise:
- A minimum of two years of uninterrupted specialist work expertise in Risk and Adherence, Internal Audit, Internal Regulate and Guarantee or Anti-Fraud.
- Related experience in similar technical zones in UN or INGO, with robust ability in Enterprise Risk mitigation strategy.
- Site expertise /understanding with Crisis. (Relying on circumstance)
- Operating competence in Microsoft resources (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Crisis expertise a plus.
- Expertise operating with the UN operational structures in similar operation is highly preferred.
Competencies:
- General Processes Expertise: Outstanding comprehension of applicable business rules, standardized processes and industry standards is critical. This which includes staying current with any modifications.
- Risk Evaluation: Capability to recognize, evaluate and prioritize risks. This includes comprehension the possible effect of various risks on UNICEF Nigeria, and country circumstance.
- Information security and IT Competence: Understanding with Information security legal provisions and rules, basic Data guard information to enable to oversee data confidentiality and cybersecurity measures.
- Investigative: Basic investigative competencies which includes steps to carry out desk assessments for the suspected fraud incidents.
- Organizing: The capability to assign suitable time and assets for successful accomplishment of targets and foresee risks and allow for contingencies when organizing.
- Attention to description: Precision in analyzing documents, producing documentation, and supervising adherence program to guarantee nothing is overlooked.
- Drafting and Desing: Capability to formulate and design regulatory framework direction notes, SOPs, checklist, and process.
- Verbal abilities: Capability to transparently clarify sophisticated and sensitive matters to different target groups inside the company. Capability to transparently and succinctly express creative thoughts and notions in documented and spoken communication form.
- Strategic Executive guidance and Flexibility: Capability to settle difficult, sophisticated and sensitive conditions often under pressure. Readiness to constantly learn and adjust to new rules and technical solutions.
- Honesty and reliability and Ethical Judgment: High professional conduct and the capability to make impartial decisions that match with the UNICEF’s values.
- Issue resolution: Innovative and critical thinking to formulate efficient initiatives for adherence concerns.
- People skills: Building trust and partnership across sections and workspaces to execute adherence plans productively.
