Position Overview
- We are looking for a highly proficient and passionate ICT Tutor to join our primary school team.
- The successful applicant will be in charge of training ICT competencies to students across various age groups, combining digital literacy, and making sure a safe online environment.
- The preferred candidate will be in-depth knowledge, innovative, and committed to using tech to improve learning.
Primary duties
- Train ICT competencies: Supply compelling and interactive ICT lessons to primary students, following the Cambridge Syllabus.
- Digital literacy: Promote digital literacy competencies in students, which includes online safety, digital citizenship, and in charge tech use.
- Child safety and protection: Ensure a safe online environment, conforming to child protection rules and standard procedures.
- Lesson organizing: Formulate and execute well-organized ICT lesson
- Evaluation and response: Evaluate student advancement, offer feedback criticism, and documentation on student accomplishment.
- Partnership: Collaborate with teammates to combine ICT across the syllabus and advance cross-disciplinary learning.
- Staying current: Constantly modify expertise and competencies in ICT, combining new technical solutions and training structured approaches.
Qualifications
- Training certification: Bachelor's degree in pedagogy or relevant field, with a concentration on ICT or Computer Science.
- ICT proficiency: Solid understanding of digital infrastructure, software, and online platforms.
- Child safety and protection: Comprehension of child protection rules and standard procedures, with the capability to guarantee a safe online environment.
- Creativeness and flexibility: Capability to design compelling lessons, adjust to different age groups, and integrate tech proficiency across the syllabus.
- Verbal abilities: Clear articulation and people skills, with the capability to operate with students, teachers, and parents.
- Uninterrupted learning: Dedication to ongoing career advancement, staying current on ICT practices, and industry standards.
Preferred Credentials:
- Cambridge ICT accreditation: Accreditation in Cambridge ICT or relevant field.
- Expertise: Previous expertise training ICT in a primary school setting.
- Digital pedagogy: Comprehension of digital pedagogy and its application in the classroom.
