Nursery School Tutor at Sitrid International School in Mini-Orlu, Port Harcourt - Rivers

Position Overview

We are looking for an passionate and skilled Nursery School Tutor to join our agile team in a high-paced school. The successful applicant will be in charge of producing a fostering and compelling learning environment for our nursery pupils, nurturing their community-related, emotional, and cognitive development. The preferred candidate will be knowledgeable about child safety and protection rules and will be skilled in the use and consolidation of tech in the classroom in addition to industry standards in the management of learning content.

Primary duties

• Strategy and supply compelling lessons: Formulate and execute lesson strategies that cater to the multifaceted needs of nursery pupils using the EYFS structure.
• Produce a safe and supportive workplace: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of pupils, conforming to child safety and protection rules.
• Promote community-related and emotional development: Motivate pupils to formulate community-related competencies, emotional intelligence, and self-trust.
• Combine tech in the classroom: Use online platforms and assets to improve training and learning, and to liaise with parents and teammates.
• Evaluate and document pupils' advancement: Track and document pupils' advancement, recognizing zones for assist and development.
• Work alongside teammates: Collaborate with other teachers and assistants to formulate syllabus and distribute industry standards.

Qualifications

• Certification or Academic qualification in Early Childhood Education: Or a relevant field.
• Training accreditation: TRCN, Nursery school training accreditation or qualification for accreditation.
• Expertise: Previous educational background experience in a nursery school setting.
• Child safety and protection development: Understanding with child safety and protection rules and standardized processes.
• Technical abilities: Skilled in the use and consolidation of tech in the classroom.
