Top level Engineering project coordinator - Gas Projects at FIRST Exploration & Petroleum Development Company Limited (FIRST E&P) in Lagos

Role summary

The Gas Projects Top level Engineering project coordinator will be in charge of the dispatch of the modifications and upgrade necessary for the transformation of an recognized drilling rig or  to a MOPU or the design / building of a new MOPU regular with the scope qualifications of the Combined Gas Monetization Project. The ongoing idea comprises the procurement, transformation and installation of a MOPU to process and export ca 500 MMscfd of gas trained to stock a Floating LNG (FLNG) unit. The Top level Engineering project coordinator will be in charge under the monitoring of the Project Head for Gas Projects for supplying these elements of the project on timetable and within accepted financial plan from the pre-FEED stage through FEED, thorough engineering, installation and initiating.

Qualifications

• A good academic qualification in applicable engineering discipline.
• At least 12 - 15 years associated expertise top to top level positions in petroleum sector facilities engineering of which a minimum of 5 years in oversight and project coordination level.
• Demonstrated expertise in the management of key engineering and procurement projects.
• Must possess solid understanding of remote marine operations projects and particularly vessel transformation projects.
• Skilled expertise and expertise in agreement planning process and key EPC agreement execution and implementation.
• Expertise in the marketplace and its effect on project implementation plans.
• Building/Installation expertise would be advantageous.
•  Expertise in development implementation of projects exceeding $100M.
