Private Cook at The Place (Smackers Limited) in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Role summary

We are seeking a specialist and skilled Private Cook to organize meals in a private home according to their preferences and dietary needs. The Private Cook will be in charge of shopping for ingredients, organizing menus, getting ready and serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards. Our preferred candidate should possess specialist development in culinary arts and substantial expertise in the food service industry. The preferred should possess a enthusiasm for cooking, be innovative, and be capable to organize a range of cuisines.

Duties

• Ensure ingredients and concluding goods are fresh
• Follow recipes, which includes measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
• Show, garnish and organize concluding dishes
• Preserve a clean and safe kitchen zone, which includes managing utensils, tools and dishes
• Manage and store ingredients and food
• Preserve food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Organize meals according to preferences and dietary needs
• Produce customized menus for family
• Shop for premium quality, fresh ingredients
• Keep the kitchen clean and structured, making sure all food safety rules are was aligned with.
• Store and dispose of food properly to reduce waste and adhere with health rules

Credentials Requirement:

• Proven work expertise as a Private Cook or similar position
• Must be an akwa ibom indigine
• Expertise with menu organizing
• Expertise in different types of cuisine
• Outstanding cooking competencies with meticulousness
• Capability to adjust recipes to accommodate special dietary needs
• Understanding with sanitation rules
• Must be committed to work in Lekki, Lagos.
