Position Overview

We are looking for an skilled and meticulous Top level Lab Technician to supervise and implement laboratory processes, making sure precision, safety, and adherence with standard standardized processes. The preferred candidate will possess a solid experience in laboratory evaluation, tools managing, and quality assurance, and will be in charge of directing entry-level lab employees and status updates outcomes for executive review.

Primary duties

• Carry out and oversee laboratory tests and strategic trials according to established procedures.
• Track lab tools effectiveness, calibrate instruments, and ensure proper servicing & maintenance.
• Preserve precise records of test outcomes, evaluation, and quality assurance data.
• Guarantee adherence with safety rules and laboratory industry standards.
• Oversee and educate entry-level technicians, internship, or lab assistants.
• Work alongside analysis teams or production worker to guarantee QA and uniformity.
• Organize thorough documentation and convey findings to supervisors or department heads.
• Order and preserve stock of lab inventory, chemicals, and tools.
• Engage in audits and standards oversight system assessments.

Credentials

• Higher national diploma/Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or relevant field.
• At least 3 years practical lab expertise, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or high-level position (with expertise in the construfction organisation)
• Understanding with ISO/GLP/GMP guidelines is a plus.
• Expertise in a building organisation
• Skilled in managing lab tools and modern diagnostic resources.
• Robust logical, corporate, and status updates competencies.
• High meticulousness and capability to operate under minimal oversight.
• Clear articulation and people skills.
• Preferred Expertise:
• Prior expertise in Building organisation.
• Expertise in safety and ecological rules applicable to Ogun industrial zones.
