Expert - Cybersecurity Information Tech at MTN Nigeria in Nigeria

Purpose

The position Directs and repeatedly enhance the Enterprise Information security posture, offer specialized skill on all MTNN Enterprise wide Guard associated concerns and collaborate with MTN Group Guard to establish suitable Frameworks.

Explanation

• Help with cybersecurity programs in conjunction with Group Cybersecurity team.
• Design and execute guard regulates to ensure protection of and track events for information operational structures, enterprise applications and data.
• Assist with execution of Cyber security projects.
• Assist the continuos optimization and upgrades of current guard initiatives like SIEM, Vulenrability, Data Secrity & Guard Data analysis.
• Lead within and outside the organization risk exposure evaluation, penetration tests collaborations and oversee outcomes to remediation.
• Address escalated guard events and lead guard issue resolution process methods to guarantee on-time settlement with minimal disruption.
• Design, record, and deploy secure structure initiatives to improve and evolve the guard posture of the business to guarantee honesty and reliability, accessibility and secrecy of all critical enterprise data.
• Assist with yearly Red team & Blue team exercise to enhance enterprise guard.
• Offer proficiency on guard resources, which includes but not limited to firewalls, Web app firewalls, IDS/IDP, anti-malware software.
• Coordinate with participants in respect of business execution of guard rules and industry standards.
• Work alongside the Customer Steward Team to guarantee that technical strategies are practical, regulates are maintainable, and implementations are handled to reduce risks and adverse effect to servers, workstations and user productivity.
• Execute the structure, settings and methods to track guard associated events.
• Prevent data loss and service interruptions by conducting analysis new technical solutions that will productively protect the enterprise network.
• Record and operationalize cyber security methods.
• Verify that every guard system recordkeeping is current.
• Assist Business Risk mitigation strategy in guard associated inquiries.
• Lead the organizing and action fixes necessary to prevent exposures to cyber security associated threats.
• Execute guard issue resolution process and management.
• Interface possessing applicable Assist Teams to settle guard vulnerabilities inside the Enterprise operational structures and Applications.
• Lead expertise management and industry standards exchanging within own unit, department, division, or enterprise-wide as necessary.

Qualifications Education:

• At least First Academic qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Tech/Operational structures or associated discipline preferred
• Possession of a post graduate academic qualification in associated IT, Engineering site will be a plus
• Possession of a specialist IT accreditation (Accredited Cyber security Operational structures Specialist (CISSP)
• Possession of other Cybersecurity associated accreditation is preferred

Expertise:

• 3-7  years’ expertise in an zone of Guard specialisation; with expertise operating with others
• Expertise operating in a Large company and ideally in the Telecommunications industry
• Solid experience as an Engineer/Architect in application guard structure and various network technical solutions to comprise of devices which includes firewalls, VPN, intrusion/extrusion discovery, risk exposure & risk evaluation resources, encryption technical solutions, virus/worm/malware prevention, E-business and web app technical solutions, Data Loss Prevention, whole disk & device encryption initiatives, two-factor authentication, common Windows (desktop & steward) channels,
• Expertise with Microsoft, Solaris, Unix, Oracle and Microsoft SQL
• Expertise operating in telecommunications industry
• Coordinating network and / or network & cybersecurity
• Expertise should be ongoing with cyber security industry standards and international developments
• Expertise in guard industry standards which includes; defense deep, least privileges, need-to-know, division of roles, entry regulates, encryption
• User account identity, approval and authentication management.

• Expertise in conducting analysis new or emerging technical solutions and methods that may be merged as initiatives to reoccurring guard issue
