Top level Operational base Engineer at EXUS in Nigeria (Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Top level Operational base Engineer to join us remotely in a organisation that revolutionizes the way that credit risk is handled.  We are seeking an passionate, highly proficient Top level Operational base Engineer. More particularly: 

Core tasks

• Design, deploy and oversee ability to scale, multi-node Kubernetes clusters (on-premises, AWS EKS, Azure AKS) 
• Automate structure provisioning and setup using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm 
• Build and preserve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other applicable resources 
• Execute strong supervising, data recording, and warning operational structures 
• Ensure structure is secure, resilient, and highly accessible, assisting auto-scaling where relevant 
• Team up with software technical groups to enable efficient and dependable deploying cycles 
• Collaborate with IT and Assist teams to diagnose issues structure-associated concerns 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree academic qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field (Master's degree academic qualification will be an added advantage) 
• At least 5 years of practical experience as a Operational base Engineer, Infrastructure engineer, or similar position 
• In-depth understanding in: 
• Kubernetes management (CKA or similar qualifications are a plus) 
• Infrastructure automation using Terraform 
• Robust expertise with: 
• CI/CD resources (especially GitHub Actions) 
• Helm charts and bundle management 
• Supervising and observability initiatives (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana) 
• Scripting (Bash, Python) 
• Linux operating system management 

Preferred Competencies: 

• Practical experience with public cloud channels, especially AWS and Azure 
• Exposure to MLOps processes and large language model (LLM) deploying 
• Expertise provisioning Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtual machines (e.g. using kubeadm, Cluster API, or similar resources) 

General competencies: 

• Outstanding expertise in English language (both verbal & documented)  
• Robust analytical abilities and logical thinking  
• Team player, self-driven, constantly looking for new expertise
