Role summary

We are seeking to utilize a Warehouse clerk who will beresponsible for the entire warehouse process initiatives - loading, unloading, moving and storing client product in an productive and safe manner. Ensures clients’ orders are finalize and on time – the right quantities in the right place at the right time.

Duties

• Preserve stock by carrying out, routine, on a weekly basis and every month physical counts; adjusting variances; inputting data into the system.
• Pack and organize orders for dispatch; load vehicles; timetable and supervise supplies and pick-ups.
• Preserve precise filling records (both manually and electronically) of all stock documentation, inventory take, dispatch notes and waybills.
• Organize requisitions for needed materials to guarantee adequate inventory levels.
• Carry out periodic assessment of the warehouse process to guarantee that all goods are stored safely
• Organize and send diversity of documentation and data records for executive review
• Co-ordinate stock transfers from the Headquarter Warehouse to other branch(es) as directed under leadership.
• Be responsible to the client for both quality and quantity of product that departs the warehouse
• Preserve storage zone by arranging floor space; conforming to storage visual design rules; endorsing enhancements for executive review.
• Supervise guard by making sure that the warehouse is kept secured at all times, putting on all guard appliances (i.e authorization, alarms etc) at the suitable times
• Observe workplace safety and wellness guidelines; preserve warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly requirement and ensure general upkeep of warehouse, which includes consistent maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and tools
• Educate employees, which includes onboarding development, and development as necessary on use of tools, workplace safety and wellness, methods and client support
• Formulate good operating connections with those on your team, in addition to in other departments.

Qualifications

Applicants should have an OND certification with a minimum of 2 years work expertise.
