Duties
- Interpreting the outcomes of eye examinations, using prescriptions documented by Doctor of optometry and Ophthalmologists
- Advising patients on frame weights, materials, styles and colors
- Endorsing lenses, coatings and frames to match clients’ needs
- Measuring clients to decide appropriate types and styles of frames
- Modifying frames so they suit properly
- Getting ready orders for glasses and reach out lenses by checking prescriptions, lens thickness and other requirements
- Making sure that orders for glasses and reach out lenses possess been processed precisely
Qualifications
At least National Certification in Dispensing Opticianry. At least 2years' expertise in a similar position.
