Job Description
Position Overview
As a Video editor at Just Inches, you will be central to our narrative creation engine—capturing, editing, and generating video content that aligns with our customers’ visions and our organisation’s high guidelines of creativeness. From idea development to post-processing, you will play a main responsibility in supplying compelling, creative, and specialist video content for brands, events, marketing, and social platforms.
Primary duties
- Work alongside the innovative and project coordination teams to envision and generate premium quality video content.
- Capture video recorded content during live events, corporate identity activations, and customer projects with an eye for description and narrative creation.
- Refine unedited material into polished videos with sound, graphics, animated visuals, and motion enhancements where necessary.
- Ensure uniformity in style, tone, and brand identity across all video results.
- Oversee video tools (cameras, lighting, audio gear, drones, etc.), making sure proper setup, servicing & maintenance, and storage.
- Stay current with the latest video generation practices, technical solutions, and industry standards.
- Adjust video content for various channels (websites, TV, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Work on various projects at the same time while delivering consistently.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise as a video editor and videographer (project sample necessary).
- Competence in Adobe Premiere Pro, Concluding Cut Pro, After Outcomes, or similar editing resources.
- Deep knowledge of cinematography, lighting, audio recording, and narrative creation.
- Capability to operate under pressure, organize schedule productively, and supply premium quality outcomes.
- Creativeness, meticulousness, and a robust sense of graphics structure.
- Clear articulation and collaborative ability.
- Adaptive schedule to operate in-field, remotely, and commute as required.
Added Advantage:
Expertise with animated visuals, drone videography, and live-streaming. Prior expertise in a innovative agency, media house, or communications firm.
