Key Account Associate - POS Merchant Obtaining at PalmPay Limited (3 Openings) in Nigeria

Position Overview

The Key Account Associate will be in charge of pushing offline and online merchant-obtaining businesses (Chain Stores, dining venues, Supermarkets, FMCG, Pharmacy, Betting, etc), and conceptualizing plans to grow sales income. The preferred candidate will be apt in building solid connections with strategic merchants and will be capable to assess requirements and qualifications to advance the company’s initiative and accomplish shared fulfillment.

Obligations and Duties

• Merchant Obtaining in all key sectors 
• Interacting with corporate entities to introduce them to our goods.
• Educate merchants on the perks of all goods.
• Solve associated concerns reported by merchants.
• Constantly build merchant networks.
• Setting targets and conceptualizing strategies for business and income increase.
• Promote and formulate connections with customers.
• Possess a good comprehension of entire goods and solutions and be capable to advise others about them.

Person Specification

• Bsc, Higher national diploma or its equivalent in Business promotion & sales or associated fields.
• At least 2 - 3 years of expertise as a Merchant Purchase Executive in Financial technology, Agency Banking Firm, or Direct Sales officer in a Business-related Bank, FMCG.
• Previous accomplishments in the public and private sectors.
• Complete comprehension of POS business and agency banking and merchant scenarios.
• Robust promotion competencies.
• Robust client/customer interaction competencies.
• Must have good bargain and critical thinking.
• A robust document of success within key account management, preferably inside the financial technology industry is essential.
• Competence in all Office productivity software applications.

Other Competencies:

• Extremely adaptable, result-oriented, and diligent with a robust track document of success.
• Self-driven and capable to operate independently to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Demonstrated expertise in merchant purchase will be an added advantage.
• Must have clear articulation and people skills.
