Position Objective / Goal
The Top level Initiating and Begin-Up Subsea Regulates Engineer will head the organizing, implementation, and dispatch of initiating initiatives for subsea regulate operational structures, making sure safe consolidation with topside operational structures and preparedness for hydrocarbon generation. The position includes interfacing with engineering, building, processes, and vendor teams to confirm system capability and effectiveness.
Primary duties
- Advance Objective Zero Safety and Quality culture and lead adherence at the worksite.
- Ensure adherence to Shell and IOGP Health, safety, and environment rules and standardized processes at Organisation worksites.
- Evaluate and offer input to technical specification documents, P&IDs and other thorough engineering documents for subsea management system and other interfacing operational structures.
- Address SURF associated queries and technical explanation questions from vendor.
- Should be capable to offer specialist assist for the SURF pre-initiating and initiating of a subsea tieback project. Position includes monitoring running test and processes of subsea tools such
- MCS (Master Management system), EPU (Electrical Power Unit), HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit), EJB, TUPA,
- SCMs, Hardware Mounted Regulates, manifolds, subsea allocation units, flowlines, umbilical, jumpers, tubing hangers, Christmas trees and connected transportation, storage, and installation helps adhere with project requirements, standardized processes, design recordkeeping and authorized Assessment and test strategy
- (ITP) and confirmation through running test.
- Formulate and execute initiating strategies for subsea regulate operational structures which includes hydraulic, electrical, and information exchange interfaces.
- Engage in Design Assessments, Technical Workshops HAZID, HAZOPs and any other Sessions / assessments as may be allocated in the Scope of Work.
- Interface with topsides operational structures (e.g., SSCB, chemical injection, lift gas, dead oil circulation) to guarantee smooth unification.
- Safe, prompt and productive implementation and lead advancement of work scope based on timeline.
- Formulate running test procedures, running test standardized process, processes standardized process and aftermarket healthcare assist to guarantee business honesty and reliability and preparedness.

- Oversee running test, pre-initiating, and initiating of the subsea operational structures.
- Coordinate with internal participants i.e., Quality, Health, safety, and environment, project regulate, engineering disciplines, organizing,
- Information & Electronic system, Bonga asset & processes, Wells, marine, logistic, organizing aviation, subsea intervention etc. to guarantee adequate assist for project implementation.
- Log and track lessons Learned.
- Evaluate process, and servicing & maintenance documented guides and standard procedures issued by vendor.
- The service includes responsibility for work and commute to fabrication sites, OEM facility and generating FPSO facility in the Gulf of Guinea.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Electrical, Subsea, Regulate & Instrumentation, or Remote marine operations Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
- A member of a professional body/membership (COREN, NSE, ISA, SPE, or equivalent)
- At least 10 years work expertise with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in designing, installing, or upgrading subsea operational structures inside the petroleum sector industry with prejudice in Deepwater.
- At least Bsc in an petroleum sector associated science discipline.
- Good comprehension and practical application of relevant Industry guidelines and codes
- Practical expertise in operating with subsea operational structures OEMs. Understanding with subsea regulate modules (SCMs), electro-hydraulic multiplexed operational structures (EH-MUX), and topside regulate interfaces.
- Capability to convey, work, interface, interact and shape productively within a multi-disciplinary team of experts located internationally.
- Expertise in personal and process safety.
- Demonstrable project coordination expertise and possibly with qualifications if relevant.
- Expertise in use of MS Workspace resources or similar software. Go Completions use will be a plus.
- Robust project coordination, QA, risk mitigation strategy and participant relation competencies.
