Top level QA Engineer at Beacon Power Services in Ikeja, Lagos

Position Overview

 We’re seeking a Top level Quality assurance Engineer to assume responsibility excellent quality plan, automatic control frameworks, and effectiveness confirmation across our software dispatch lifecycle. Applicant will be anticipated to operate closely with PMs,developers, and Development-operations engineers to design and execute ability to scale, secure, resilient, and top-performing QAprocesses that ensure the reliability and strength of our channels. This position is quality-first with robust automatic control discipline, where the preferred candidate brings a change-departed mentality, in-depth expertise in API and effectiveness running test, and a lead for building a fault-tolerant and secure system with early defect discovery and uninterrupted test consolidation across CI/CD pipelines. The preferred candidate is a technical leader in running test plan, automatic control design, and cross-operational qualityalignment. The candidate must possess exceptional executive guidance and analytical abilities, excel in dynamic environments,and be motivated by the pursuit of engineering superiority and quality maturity.

Primary duties

• Head test organizing, plan, and implementation for key capabilities or goods.
• Design, execute, and preserve strong test automatic control frameworks (User interface/API/Effectiveness).
• Lead CI/CD consolidation and test orchestration.
• Evaluate and documentation on product standard and release preparedness.
• Work alongside developers, Development-operations, and PMs for defect prevention.
• Execute code assessments for validate scripts and train entry-level Quality assurance employees.
• Support for quality cross-departmentally and assist release decisions with data.
• Execute risk assessment and effect evaluations.
• Explore generation concerns, assist root cause evaluation, and prevent recurrences. • Establish quality KPIs and documentation advancement to participants

Qualifications

• Bsc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 5+ years in Quality assurance/Running test with expertise in nimble environments.
• Specialist in test automatic control resources (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured).
• Robust scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Deep knowledge of Development-operations, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• In-depth understanding of test design methods, effectiveness/load running test resources (e.g., JMeter, k6).
• Outstanding logical and diagnosing competencies.
• Strong insight of Nimble, TDD/BDD, Development-operations, and change-departed procedures.
• Effective guidance, information exchange, and stakeholder engagement competencies.
