Position Overview

To guarantee accessibility and reliability of heavy-responsibility tools deployed to project sites.

Foundational or specialized:

Execute servicing & maintenance and fix work on gasoline-and diesel-powered vehicles or heavy responsibility tools which includes trucks, crawler cranes, tractors, excavators, bulldozer, generators, and similar items Using a basic diversity of hand-resources and test tools, locates worn, dirty, or poorly modified parts and concludes repairs by cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing worn or defective items, which includes replacing starters, generators, ignition and wiring Recognizes and gains standard parts or replacement items through evaluate of documented guides, comparisons with other parts, etc., and insures that modifications and settings meet established manufacturer, documented guide, and other requirements Works under the broad oversight of the Mechanical/Electrical Foreman with work being allocated through established servicing & maintenance plans and assigned duty for completion of needed preventive servicing & maintenance and fix through the exercise of judgment and expertise in executing allocated servicing & maintenance and fix work Executes mechanical/Electrical servicing & maintenance, overhaul, and fix of various makes, types, and sizes of passenger cars and trucks. Work is carried out in the same manner as outlined above for heavy responsibility tools.  Executes servicing & maintenance and fix initiatives on various pieces of heavy tools which includes but not limited to heavy-responsibility truck, excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and backhoes.

Qualifications

Trade Test / SSCE Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree Electrical and mechanical Engineering 5 years of expertise in the servicing & maintenance, fix and overhaul of Heavy Responsibility Tools.
