Mathematics Tutor at Word of Faith Group of Schools in Abuja (FCT)

Primary duties

• Strategy and supply well-organized and compelling Mathematics lessons that match with the school's syllabus and academic guidelines.
• Train variety of mathematical topics which includes Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics (relying on grade level).
• Use a range of instructional plans to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Organize and evaluate tasks, quizzes, and exams to assess student comprehension and advancement.
• Preserve precise and current records of student effectiveness, presence, and conduct.
• Offer input to students and convey productively with parents or guardians regarding student advancement.
• Promote a positive and welcoming learning environment that promotes student involvement and critical thinking.
• Assist students in project setup for standardized tests, internal evaluations, and external examinations.
• Work alongside other teachers and employees to formulate interdisciplinary projects and organize syllabus organizing.
• Engage in employees sessions, career advancement sessions, school events, and parent-tutor professional forums.
• Stay informed with the latest progress updates in Mathematics education and combine tech and modern resources into training.
