Chief Accountabilities

  • Support to the design and execution of site development strategies, combining geological data to endorse drilling sites and plans to optimize generation and reservoir effectiveness.
  • Execute reservoir characterization studies to evaluate geological and well data, which includes log and seismic data to produce thorough geological models that improve comprehension of reservoir architecture and conduct.

  • Stay current with industry technical solutions and industry standards in geological evaluation and reservoir management.
  • Recognize geological concerns affecting generation, which includes reservoir compartmentalization and fluid migration and offer practical, innovative initiatives to overcome hurdles.
  • Project setup of technical documentation, demonstrations, and effectiveness overviews for top level management and participants.
  • Build teamwork between the Subsurface team and other departments (e.g., Facilities, Well Engineering, processes) to guarantee that every facet of reservoir development and optimization are executed.
  • Offer guidance and technical direction to assistant geologists, technical and subsurface teams.
  • Head generation geology programs, making sure compliance to industry standards and premium quality guidelines.
  • Work alongside reservoir engineers, petrophysicists, generation technologists, and other technical teams to guarantee that geological components of projects are approximately financed and resourced.
  • Supervise vendor connections connected with geological solutions (e.g., seismic service providers, software and data vendors) to guarantee agreements are cost-efficient and in line with the project financial plan.
  • Endorse zones for cost savings in geological initiatives or site development, which includes more productive data purchase methods or cost-efficient applications.

  • Comprehensive expertise operating in a range of reservoir environments (e.g., conventional, unconventional, remote marine operations, mature site.
