Position Overview

In charge of executing organized preventive servicing & maintenance initiatives, repairing and servicing all mechanical tools and operational structures crucial to drilling processes. Executes efficient management of mechanical crew and resources utilization while contemplating the safety of staff, the environment, and tools to optimize drilling process effectiveness.

Materials & Tools:

• Strategy and organize with the OIM/RMS and other departments to secure tools’s and execute safety inspections prior to any processes or key activity which includes rig moves, running & retrieving BOP.
• Making sure that the suitable mechanical qualifications of the statutory and compliance-related bodies which includes the classification society are was aligned with and records preserved.
• Preserve stock of spare parts, consumables, and inventory for mechanical tools, making sure adequate inventory levels are preserved to assist ongoing processes and servicing & maintenance initiatives.
• Managing with supply chain and purchasing teams to procure spare parts and replacement parts as needed, making sure on-time completion, accessibility & adherence with the class & accreditation qualifications.

Rig Move:

Carries out associated obligations to organize the rig for towing, verify that every mechanical tools is correctly secured by the mechanical crew, preserving the honesty and reliability and reliability of the mechanical operational structures and tools throughout prior to the rig move.

Customer Management:

Advance and preserve an efficient operating connection with other departments, third-party staff and Customer Delegates. Responds to customer requests and needs regarding materials, tools, and staff after getting adequate management authorization.

 Team lead & Development:

• Offer clear directions to their team regarding their obligations, duties, and any necessary safety precautions prior to starting work.
• Train, formulate and educate their team to guarantee safe and efficient processes.
• Recognizes avenues for ability and profession progression, works to assist the career progression of their team.
• Ensure their team receives the necessary necessary development to execute their obligations safely and productively through on-the-position development, and involvement in safety drills and exercises.
• Assist, advance and actively engage in ADES’s Ability Guarantee Programme for their team.
• Analyzes the effectiveness of their team on constant and fair response basis, recognize zones for advancement, lead Improve process to formalize a results tracking culture.

Physical Qualifications:

• Routinely climbing (stairs, ladders).
• Routinely bending, twisting, and standing.
• Capability to operate outdoors under all extreme weather terms (Noise / Humidity / Cold / Heat).
• Capability to operate at heights and in confined spaces.
• Capability to operate  day or overnight schedule as necessary with 12 hours at least change.
