The Tech Expert role is a top level plastics process technical specialist that delivers entire tech direction and direction to Organisation’s Plastics Process Tech company. They are skilled engineers and scientists that offer strategic, cross-operational and industry executive guidance that effects recognition of Plastics commercial opportunities, development of tech to handle business needs, and application of new or current tech to improve the general interest. The Tech Expert is in charge of development and retention of expertise top to attractive advantage for Plastics generation in their allocated zone.

Duty and Responsibilites

• Recognizes zones for creating attractive advantage through tech development and execution and gains business management assist
• Recognizes avenues for creating attractive advantage through upgraded plant process and gains management assist for execution
• Delivers direction in Polymers Process Tech to key initiative project development teams
• Ensures the Plastics Process Tech expertise is being preserved, improved and utilized
• Delivers direction/mentoring for Plastics Process Engineers
• Conceptualizes entire IT asset strategies for the Plastics Process technical group, which includes succession strategies for Plastics Process Professionals.

Role expectations

• 10 years of expertise operating with petroleum sector industry application e.g., Wellview, OSIsoft PI System, Energy Parts, IPM, OFM, Petrel, ArcGIS, etc.
• Formulate and preserve scripts for process enhancements, automating data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and status updates duty.
• Produce and preserve dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Spotfire, or similar resources for technical and management status updates.
• Offer daily assist for generation data, and engineering channels (e.g., Wellview, OSIsoft PI, Energy Parts, IPM, OFM, Petrel, ArcGIS), making sure high accessibility and effectiveness.
