Job Description
Duties
- Strategize organize, and supply compelling Chemistry lessons in line with Nigerian and/or British syllabus guidelines.
- Productively organize, arrange, and carry out Chemistry and general science practicals to assist student learning.
- Formulate students’ logical, issue resolution, and scientific reasoning competencies.
- Organize students for within and outside the organization examinations (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, etc.) with outstanding outcomes.
- Evaluate and track student advancement, offering feedback criticism to students and parents.
- Combine real-life scientific applications and strategic trials to improve classroom learning.
- Support to syllabus development and unit-specific organizing.
- Engage in science-associated co-curricular and enrichment initiatives, which includes science clubs and fairs.
- Preserve proper laboratory safety guidelines and ensure responsibility of laboratory tools and materials.
- Uphold discipline, competence, and academic superiority inside the classroom and laboratory.
- Participate employees sessions, development sessions, and school events as necessary.
Qualifications Education:
At least a Bsc in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or a associated science site. Specialist training certification (TRCN registration preferred).
Expertise:
- At least 4 years training Chemistry at high school grade.
- Documented performance of getting ready students for WAEC, NECO, and/or IGCSE with robust outcomes.
- Expertise carrying out science practicals and preserving laboratory guidelines.
- Expertise in a Lagos private school environment with exposure to Nigerian and/or British syllabus preferred.
- Competence in combining ICT and online platforms into science training.
Necessary Competencies:
- Robust subject proficiency in Chemistry and general science.
- Capability to design, set up, and carry out practical strategic trials productively and safely.
- Outstanding classroom and laboratory leadership abilities.
- Clear expression, visual communication, and interpersonal abilities.
