Position Overview

The Top level Human resources Partner serves as a strategic communication link between Human resources and appointed business units, aligning people plans with business targets. This position delivers specialist Human resources direction in zones which includes staff planning, human resource management, effectiveness development, workplace engagement, and corporate performance to assist the entire purpose of the HMO in supplying quality healthcare.

Primary duties

  • Collaborate with corporate decision-makers to formulate and execute Human resources plans in sync with corporate targets.
  • Assist staff planning, succession organizing, and corporate design programs.
  • Advise on structural transformation and Human resources implications of business decisions.
  • Supervise results tracking cycles and ensure efficient evaluation operational structures.
  • Recognize development and development needs and work alongside L&D teams to supply targeted interventions.
  • Assist high-possibility employee development and retention plans.
  • Oversee workplace engagement concerns, making sure fair and regular application of organisation rules and Nigerian employment regulation.
  • Advance a positive work environment through employee relation and dispute settlement procedures.
  • Ensure Human resources procedures adhere with compliance obligations applicable to the healthcare sector.
  • Evaluate Human resources indicators and offer findings into practices which includes attrition, relation and productivity.
  • Lead Human resources projects which includes audits, regulatory framework assessments, position reviews, and remuneration benchmarking.
  • Work alongside other Human resources units (hiring process, wage processing, HRIS) for smooth service dispatch.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant to department heads and unit managers.
  • Coordinate information exchange between employees and management.
  • Assist the embedding of the HMO's values and culture cross-departmentally.

Credentials & Expertise

  • Bsc in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Business Management, Psychology, or a relevant field.
  • A MSC or Master of business administration in HR or a associated discipline is a plus.
  • Specialist Human resources accreditation is essential (e.g., CIPM, PHRi/SPHRi).
  • At least 5 - 7 years progressive Human resources expertise, with a minimum of 2 years in an HRBP or strategic Human resources executive function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in an HMO, healthcare, or highly controlled environment is a robust advantage.
  • Exhibited competence in managing sophisticated workplace engagement, business improvement, and human resource management programs.
  • Solid understanding of Nigerian work legal provisions, Human resources adherence guidelines, and healthcare compliance-related frameworks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, advising, and stakeholder engagement competencies.
  • Analytics-based approach to Human resources strategic judgment; expertise using HRIS and Human resources data analysis resources
