Job Description

The Storage and Information security Engineer at SWATX (Nigeria) is assigned with making sure the honesty and reliability, accessibility, and guard of our data storage operational structures.
In this pivotal position, you will design, execute, and oversee information security initiatives tailored to the needs of our customers and internal participants.
Additionally, you will play a main responsibility in conceptualizing backup and recovery plans, making sure that critical business data is safeguarded against loss and breaches.
This role needs a practical approach where you will utilize your proficiency to evaluate customer needs, propose efficient data initiatives, and implement storage management industry standards.
As part of the engineering team, you will collaborate with various departments to recognize zones for advancement and execute improved technical solutions to improve our information security structure.

3 - 5 years of expertise in data storage management and information security initiatives.
Competence in SAN/NAS technical solutions and multifaceted storage architectures.
Skilled in backup and recovery technical solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, or similar).
Deep knowledge of cloud storage initiatives and hybrid architectures.
Expertise in disaster recovery organizing and implementation.
Expertise in data encryption guidelines and adherence qualifications.
Understanding with effectiveness tuning and capacity organizing for storage operational structures.
Outstanding logical and diagnosing issues competencies to settle data-associated concerns productively.
Clear expression competencies for efficient partnership with technical teams and participants.
Applicable qualifications which includes VCP, NetApp, or similar storage/deduplication qualifications are a plus.
Expertise in a multi-on-site or worldwide data environment is advantageous.
