First Stage
Now let's get start From stage 1 to the very last stage. The first stage starts with an online aptitude test , that test you on numerical, and English language similar to what is on GMAT, total of 20 multiple choice questions, each question carry 5 marks, in other for you to be short listed for the next stage, you need to score at least 70 or above.
Second Stage
The next stage is an in-premise exam, where you have to come to the company's address and rewrite what you wrote online, but this time with strict supervision, to screen out those who cheated to pass the exam, ensure you are adequately prepared and come with your calculator. The cut of Mark for this stage is 70 or above just as the online aptitude test.
Stage 3 (BootCamp)
If you pass the cut off mark, you will be shortlisted to attend a mandatory 1 week bootcamp at the head office at illupeju Lagos. Now this is where it becomes interesting and competitive.
Day 1
Day 1 of the boot camp, you will have 2 session, the first session you will be taught business intelligent, and given multi-choice question to answer. After that you go for a lunch break, where you would be served lunch. After your lunch break. You will be taught sales and marketing. And also give a multi-choice question to answer.
Please ensure you pay rapid attention to answer those questions correctly because you are being scored and you must pass the cut off mark, else you just came there to pass time.
Day 2
The 2nd day of the boot camp, you will be taught finance and be assess with multi-choice question and the 1st session is ended, then as usual, you go for your lunch break, and after your break you will be asked to do a practice with Microsoft Excel, please I advice you to practice well for this, so that this can be fast and accurate, because the time allocated for the practical will be very short, mean in a twinkle of an eye.
Day 3
The 3rd day, you will be taught supply chain in the 1st session and also write an assessment test, go to lunch break as usual and then the 2nd session you be me taught production and asked to also answer some multi-choice question.
Day 4
The 4th day is one of the very stressful day. Why did I say so? Well on the 4th day you will be taught briefly about what orange refer to as "mapping" and "capping", this is where most people backed out, mapping and capping isn't just just about answering obj questions but after the mapping and capping tutorials and lunch break, you will be send to the field to practicalise the mapping and cadding with a sale rep, mapping involves scanning the QR code of orange's products in retails store and pharmacy and filling some questionnaire, getting their geolocation etc. You may be given 10 different outlets to cover (speed and accurately is of essence), what makes it worst is that on top of the mapping and cadding you are currently doing, you will be given some orange products to sales at the same time, that's is a techniques to confuse or distract manys, as they would be more concerned about selling the product than doing the mapping and cadding,
Note that you will have to do mapping first before cadding and each will be given a time limit of an hour to complete.
Concerning the products given to you to sell, please ensure to not be distracted to selling it as you can buy it off with your money and use it personally. And consider it as a sacrifice to make to get the offer. Because if you were to focus on it you will definitely waste time and miss the cadding or mapping which will cost you the more.
Day 5
The 5th day which is climax of the bootcamp, you will be given a case study materials and group each of you into various groups. Each group will be told to prepare a power point and after 3-4 hour. The presentation stage begins, at the presentation stage your group with meet with the top management of Orange group to present the case study and be assessed.
Please make sure your power point presentation slide is good and attractive. As a team during the presentation make sure each of you give a presentation, you can divide the presentation slide into different parts where each person on the group takes a part an d presentation, this shows collaboration and team work and it scores your group well. Also ensure that the group opinions do not counter each other especially during the question and answers stage. You can agree on what is the main root cause and recommendations before coming to present.
Immediately, After the presentation for your group, there is a follow up question that the management will ask you. Please think wisely before answer.
They may ask you questions based on the 4Ps(Product, Price, Placement, Promotion). You may be asked tricky question like. "If you have over thousands of products that have already expired in your warehouse and they worth over billions, over 90% of the company's worth, what do you advise that management does? "
Don't be tempted to say the company should sell it, if you say that you wouldn't be picked, as you are not smart enough to know that product quality has more priority than sale, tell them to discard the product.
